The new program details will be released in early November.  For more information, you can contact program director, Angela Meeks, here.

RTB’s fleet of rental bikes were ridden in just about every race of the 2007 triathlon season.    Their purchase was made possible through the generosity and help of Speedy Reedy Multisport, and funded by  Kraft Foods and Cole & Weber United.  Crankbrothers & Center Cycle outfitted them with flat kits.   The 6 bikes were a combination of Felt S22’s and S32’s, and Cervelo Duals.

Team members could rent the bikes for $15/week and at our Season-end party, the bikes were auctioned to team members.  100% of the proceeds of 5 bikes, $7000, benefited the Domestic Abuse Women’s Network:  D.A.W.N.  The proceeds of the last bike will benefited the Susan G. Komen  foundation for a total of $900.

Total Bikes in program:  6

Total number of week-long rentals:  78

Total number of times bikes raced:  47

Look for this program to repeat in 2008.
