Aqua jogging is the new Running!
More and more triathletes are using Aqua Jogging as a run workout to supplement training, recover from injury, or as a fun diversion and addition to a run training program. It’s a great workout for athletes who find running on the road painful and HARD! Regular aqua jogging can help build the strength to better tolerate and enjoy road running.
RTB’s Aqua Jogging workout takes place in the shallow end of the Covington Aquatic Center. The workout is split between running drills and intervals that build strength and speed. Recommended for runners susceptible to or recovering from overuse injuries.
Bring a bottle of water and wear a swimsuit and clean (but not new) running shoes.
