About Us

Home Savings of America is a federally chartered stock savings and loan association, wholly owned by Home Savings Bancorp, based in Little Falls, MN. We’ve been in the banking business since 1934. Now we’re on a mission. We want to be more than a bank. We want to be YOUR bank.

In our 75-year history, we’ve established our niche in banking with low-cost, straight forward products that fit conservative values. Many of our products and services are free, from free checking options and checks to free travelers’ checks. And more.  In the past decade we have carved a secure spot in the mortgage industry, too. Even in these turbulent times, Home Savings is continuing to offer a variety of mortgage products and highly competitive rates, to fit most every need.

We offer a variety of residential real estate mortgages through separate lending centers located across the country, including the branch in Kirkland, WA, managed by Ed Clarke. To develop and retain long-term relationships with its customers, Home Savings emphasizes high-quality, personal customer service, characterized by courtesy, efficiency, accuracy, and the ability to understand and respond to individual needs.

We are subject to examination and comprehensive regulation by the Office of Thrift Supervision and our deposits are insured by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation.

Your bank. Our privilege.
