Ironman Coeur d’Alene 2008 was full of interesting stories and gripping adventure for Raise the Bar and our athletes, but no greater story than the reward Brian Guillan and Nancy Larson received for the hours of training and dedication they put into training for this year’s race.  Both will be racing at the World Championships in Kona on slots they won last weekend.

Both Nancy and Brian bring considerable cycling strength to the event, and used that strength to power through an unusually windy ride.  Each had solid swims and runs as well.   Brian finished in 10:15:23 (his FIRST Ironman), and Nancy, at her 5th Ironman, finished in a personal best of 14:01:09.
