RACING is one of the best ways not only to build fitness, but also to alleviate  race-day jitters. The races at the lake are designed with those 2 goals in mind.  Each race includes a shorter-than-usual bike and run, a 2 swim distances to choose from - ¼ or ½ mile.  Since the swim is the most anxiety-provoking leg of a triathlon, we like to give our athletes an opportunity to do their race distance throughout the training and racing series so they feel very confident on race day.

The races are split-timed for to provide great feedback to out athletes, but are low-key and  supported by RTB coaches who give advice and encouragement along the way.  In addition to being great practice for beginners, they also provide a good intensity workout for athletes coming with race experience..

Races are limited to 100 participants and are slots are reserved for pass holders first.  We suggest registering for a 4-workout pass to be assured a spot on race day.

SWIM ONLY RACES

Each race night will include a swim race for our swim-only athletes.  There will be various distances offered and timing will be provided.  It’s likely that each participant will have the option to race more than once on a race night.
