Typical Team Member Savings
While there is no such thing as a ‘typical’ RTB member......we’ll take a stab at showing some of the savings people have had as a result of being on the team......  And will leave out the money they spent to save that much money!!  We will point out, though, that the money would have been spent on those items anyhow.  And maybe the discounts enabled them to buy some better equipment or training they couldn’t have afforded otherwise.  Their $169 fee (or $99 for returning members) stretched a long way.
Member #1 - Rob Spero

Rob is a 2nd year triathlete and a first-time Ironman (Coeur d’Alene in 08!!)   Rob came to the sport with great potential in the swim, and some cycling and running experience.  He was interested in training and the big ticket items - a bike and a wetsuit.  His savings are the result of sponsorships from Xterra Wetsuits, Speedy Reedy, Center Cycle, Kent Easthill Physical Therapy, Roadrunner  Sports, Crankbrothers, Felt, Powerbar, Velopress.....endless list.

Rob paid a New Member fee of $169.

Member #2 - Angela Meeks

Angela is a 4th year triathlete and competes in a few Sprint and Olympic races every year. She is also a recreational runner, and manages to squeeze in a few Half Marathons and 5K’s or 10K’s along the way.  She didn’t need a new wetsuit or a bike this year, but did take advantage of training and some coaching benefits.

Angela paid a returning member fee of $99.

I am really impressed with the discounts we get at Center Cycle and Speedy Reedy -- thanks for arranging those -- your are saving me hundreds of dollars!
